What happens when we fear man rather than God?
It is the political spirit in action. I believe that is what we have seen in our government and very clearly on January 6.
We saw leaders who feared man rather than God.
“Gifts” given to elected officials are illegal. They are called bribes. When my prayer teams have gone to visit congressional leaders, we have wanted to bring in cookies or some other small treat just to say “thank you” and “we are praying for you.” But even that small gesture is against the rules.
However, within Congress, bribes happen all the time.
Political games are all too common especially for freshman leaders coming in with the hope of bringing justice. To bring justice you must have authority. That is when they are coerced to play the game.
“If you do this, then we will give you this. If you don’t, then we will make sure you don’t get on any committees or in any leadership position.” It’s a very common threat made by senior, unjust leadership. It is a bribe connected to a threat.
If they don’t comply, they will strip you of any authority. The threat is real.
In April this past year, my husband and I attended the Republican Delegation for our state. It was a first for us both to be involved in our party at that level. It was eye-opening and frustrating to say the least.
We were there for at least eight hours and the ONLY thing that was accomplished on the agenda for the day was the election of the new president and vice-president. All the other issues on the schedule to be decided had to be rolled over to the next meeting.
Absolutely NOTHING got accomplished.
Perhaps it was intentional as one of the issues that went unaddressed was the censoring of our two state senators because they voted to certify the 2020 electoral votes against the will of the constituents for which they work.
Both of the senators are Republicans. One (Inhofe) had consistently said he would certify the vote, going along with Democrats, and gave all sorts of excuses from the beginning as to why. This is his last term, so he also has no fear of reprisal from the constituents.
As a career politician, if you look closely at where he has been involved, he has already been compromised for a very long time.
The other senator (Lankford) declared he would NOT certify the vote when they met on January 6. Initially he joined with several other courageous conservative leaders who requested a delay until a more thorough investigation could take place. It was not only a reasonable request, it was logical and necessary.
Considering the staggering number of videos and statements from election workers across the nation of under-the–table actions taking place, it was criminal that our congressional leaders rushed to certify the electoral votes.
And then the Capitol breech happened on January 6. How convenient.
I refuse to call it an insurrection because the people were invited in by the police who opened the gates and waved them in. Watch the videos. Most of those on the inside were simply walking around taking pictures.

I also interviewed approximately fifty eye-witnesses, some who were inside and some who watched from outside. ALL of their accounts were similar and notably very different than the main stream media-doctored version.
What we do know of the small amount of video footage finally released, after a filing of the Freedom of Information Act, is that within the crowd were numerous undercover FBI agents sprinkled heavily into the crowd. It is the red flag that means they KNEW in advance that something was going to happen OR they were trying to make something happen.
Actually, I believe it was both.
It puts into question Nancy Pelosi’s dubious instruction for that day for a portion of the Capitol police to stay home. If you know potentially hundreds of thousands of people are going to flood into a city for a political event, obviously a demand to keep some of the police force home doesn’t make sense. Unless, of course, she was trying to make something happen.
BUT if you are trying to create an issue, well then what happened makes complete sense.
The bottom line is, after the Capitol was breeched, senators and representatives were told they had to leave the Floor. Most returned to their offices to wait for an all clear. Approximately two hours later they returned to finish the discussion and take a vote.
That’s when we see that something else was happening during the “breech.” It was the bigger breech of integrity. What bribes or threats were offered to the congressional leaders to change their vote during the shutdown?
Those that did not only betrayed President Trump, but also the American people. What really happened during those two hours?
Because without question something happened.
Below is the list of those who said they would not certify the vote and then those who bowed to the Left’s pressure during those two hours:
The Courageous
Rep. Mo Brooks, R-AL
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX
Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-FL
Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-TX
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-MO
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-OH
Sen. John Kennedy, R-LA
Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala.
The Cowards
Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-TN (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. Mike Braun, R-IN (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. Steve Daines, R-MT (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. Bill Hagerty, R-TN (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-WI (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. James Lankford, R-OK (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-GA (Bowed and betrayed America)
Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-WY (Bowed and betrayed America)
And let’s not forget the greatest betrayal by Vice-President Pence.
Remember actions are indicators. And God will have the final say.
Back in biblical history let’s remember King Belshazzar of Babylon. He held a great feast for a multitude of people. In his arrogance, he called for the gold and silver chalices from the temple of the Lord to be brought to the party so everyone could drink from them.
The sacred was rendered common as Belshazzar displayed no fear or reverence of God.
You probably remember the story. A hand was seen writing on the wall the words, “Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.” The translation was “God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it. You have been weighed on the scales and found deficient. Your kingdom has been divided…”
The word “Mene” was used twice, which means, the thing had been decided and would happen quickly.
I believe the result will be the same. They have been weighed in the scales and found wanting, their days are numbered and God will put an end to their leadership. For Oklahoma I believe that includes Inhofe and Lankford.
We need leaders who won’t bow or be bribed. Leaders like Daniel.
In the case of King Belshazzar, the prophecy was fulfilled within hours.
I believe that same word applies to what happened on Jan. 6, as we see officials who feared man rather than God.
When King Belshazzar called for Daniel to interpret the four words, he enticed him with a great reward. Perhaps he thought an incentive would guarantee a good word.
But Daniel spoke without hesitation, “Keep your gifts!”
Would that our senators and representatives, who flipped from their courageous stand to bow to the bribes, coercion or threats of the Left, have been as courageous as Daniel. Instead, they bowed.

At the Republican Delegation in April after we endured almost two hours of browbeating demanding we ignore, overlook or forgive Inhofe and Lankford’s betrayal, I was given the mic to address the crowd for two minutes regarding a nomination.
It was an unexpected opportunity. I prayed for what God would have me to say.
“Like many of you, this is my first time as a delegate. What I’ve witnessed, however, has been appalling. I have seen behind-the-curtain negotiations taking place, silencing, censoring, and removing candidate’s names from surveys to hide them from the voters.
Am I at the Democrat Convention or the Republican? Because I can’t tell the difference,” I concluded.
What I saw at that Republican delegation were officials who could be bribed and/or threatened and then tried to convince the rest of us that they were honest. We were told we needed to continue to support Inhofe and Lankford. Why?
One leader insisted it was because they were “good guys” and because he was friends with the men. Repeatedly they tried to convince us that despite the betrayal, we needed to continue to support cowardly leadership.
What we see happening in our world are people willing to overlook indiscretions because of relationship whether that be friendship or what that person can do for them.
Either way it is called compromise.
Our response shouldn’t be about relationship. It should be about integrity. It is about what is right and just. We all must decide where we stand. Are we willing to be like Daniel who refused to take the bribe even when threatened? May we stand steadfast and say, “Keep your gifts!” and fear God rather than man.
Sadly as much as I like Lankford and met he when he was a Congressman, and one of the most pro-life Senators, he will have to be held accountable for certifying a fraudulent vote and betraying all of America. May God spare him even just a little.
I agree with you. I liked many things about Lankford, but he compromised and betrayed us and America.
My husband and I were going to the Convention but at the last minute were not able to go.
We live in Checotah, OK now. However, we lived in Tulsa or Tulsa County for most of our marriage. We put up with Inhofe for a lot of years. My husband and I moved to McAlester in 2006 for him to work for Spirit AeroSystem. I met the Republicans in Pittsburg County who were a great bunch of folks. I agree that Lankford and Inhofe need to go.
