Deliverance! That is the word that He spoke to me late last night that many of you needed to hear today. HE IS YOUR DELIVERER!
Some things have happened even into the first few days in this new year which has brought discouragement as you have said in your heart, “I thought this year would be different.”
Know that it is! What you are seeing is simply residue that is trying to find firm footing. Do not allow it to take residence.
You have walked through trials and situations not of your making and yet everywhere you turn you feel you have to put out someone else’s fire which is now raging around you. Time you set aside to spend with the Lord or in a productive way has been stolen time and again as issues continue to arise that have prevented you from moving forward.
You have asked, “Lord why is this happening? Have I opened the door to this?”
And while that is an important question, which we should always ask and wait quietly for His response, I sensed that there are many….MANY out there who the Lord said, “It’s not anything you have done that has opened this door of challenge, but where you are going.” This is about your future and where He is taking you–and what would try to prevent you from reaching that place of destiny. Remember the promised land was given to the Israelites, but they had to take the land. You will have to take this land. Don’t give up!
It has been as if you are walking through a thick layer of mud with heavy weights–boulders—attached to your legs slugging through the mud of challenges around you.
This is His word to you today, that He is blowing out across those challenges with a warm breath of His Spirit that is blowing them out of your life and into the sea. It is a healing wind that will remove these things as you continue to STAND.
He spoke to me to go to Psalm 18. How appropriate. I encourage you to read the entire chapter, but here is a segment below as God ROARS in and THUNDERS from Heaven on your behalf to deliver you from this constant battle.
Psalm 18: 13-36
The Lord thundered from heaven;
the voice of the Most High resounded.
14 He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy,
with great bolts of lightning he routed them.
15 The valleys of the sea were exposed
and the foundations of the earth laid bare
at your rebuke, Lord,
at the blast of breath from your nostrils.
16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters.
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me.
20 The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;
according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord;
I am not guilty of turning from my God.
22 All his laws are before me;
I have not turned away from his decrees.
23 I have been blameless before him
and have kept myself from sin.
24 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26 to the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.
27 You save the humble
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
28 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.
29 With your help I can advance against a troop;
with my God I can scale a wall.
30 As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him.
31 For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength
and keeps my way secure.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he causes me to stand on the heights.
34 He trains my hands for battle;
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
36 You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way.
Like someone ice skating who doesn’t often skate, there are times your ankles feel weak and you are unable to bear up. But He has said that your ankles will not give way as He brings you into this broad place. (Another version refers to the word “broad in verse 36 as ‘he enlarges my steps.’ Meaning your foot/foundation is so large and broad that it cannot topple.
This is not the time to grow weary or give up, but to press in as He begins to blow with the breath of heaven across your situation to blow it out of your life. Stand fast.
Lord, I ask you to strengthen each one reading this that you will give them the strength to stand against the tide of weariness that threatens to cause them to stay where they are. Help them to continue to press into you and press ahead in their circumstances. That as they do that weights begin to break off until their steps become easier and easier and they walk out of the present situation to high ground. Let them sense you fighting on their behalf that you see them and fight for them and are equipping them for this hour.

Yes I feel it was for me🙏
Thank you❤️
Yes, I have felt strength to my ankles after a bad fall ,I receive that word, and I do understand putting to other peoples fires out, even in trying to help others, I don’t want to allow the enemy in, I have asked the Lord to close doors on any area I need Him too.
This is exactly how I am feeling. Very weary of the battle. Your work gives me hope! Thank you!
Thanks for your note. This is one area to encourage you is that satan always comes to wear us down and if he can steal our hope then we have no anchor for our faith and everything begins to fall apart from there. So maintaining hopeful expectation is huge to breakthrough!
Hi Karen, thank you s much once again! Everything you put out in recent months has hit the mark and brought much comfort for me.
Thank you again for sharing and for having a listening ear to what God would have you to say. This word is right on time. I am believing God for deliverance. God bless
Agreeing with you Stephanie that 2017 will be a year of breakthrough for you!
Stephanie, let me encourage your heart today with the reminder of what you already know…He is your deliverer because it is at the very core of His nature to deliver! When we can keep our eyes on that and recount how many times He delivered His people from impossible situations, that is when hope arises in our heart to have faith that He can do it for us. He not only can, but He will. Blessings!
This was a timely and encouraging word – one that has broken the devil’s lie and given me hope. I love Psalm 18. Thank you!
Thank you Stepanie, I have only seen your site this morning and is being so helpful to me.
The Holy Spirit is ministering to me and restoring my hope.
Your story on Blackie very much ministered to me also, blessings xx
